Core – Loss Prevention Managerial Six Flags Over Texas – Arlington

Summary: This part time position is to design, deploy, monitor and manage a sufficient Loss Prevention program for Six Flags Over Texas. At a competitive rate of $22.00 this role will provide proactive, visible and progressive functional leadership of the department and program to all team members and guests. Job Duties:

· Assist Public Safety Supervisor with oversight of all operational functions related to the safe and effective operation of Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor Arlington.

· Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained to effectively operate and service the park.

· Ensures 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures.

· Work in collaboration with the Public Safety Management team to ensure that Security & LP operational functions, programs and policies are maintained between SFOT & HHARL.

· Acts as liaison with outside law enforcement agencies as needed.

· Provides and coordinates training, to include specialized training such as de-escalation techniques, predator awareness and emergency response.

· Collaborate with all members of leadership on operational challenges specific to but not exclusively security and safety.

· Perform and train staff to conduct audits of processes and quality assurance.

· Conduct or facilitate background investigations and interviews in accordance with corporate guidelines.

· Knowledge of applicable state and local laws, with annual reviews for changes.

· Conduct or facilitate investigations and investigative interviews of employees who have been shown to be involved in impropriety.

· Review reports and statements for external and internal cases for accuracy and completeness.

· Oversee CCTV projects and operations. Ensuring that all systems are functioning and within corporate & park standards.

· All other duties assigned.

 

Skills & Qualifications

· Security background with 1 year of leadership experience in Security and/or Occupational Safety required, Theme Park, hospitality or equivalent industries preferred.

· Wicklander & Zulawski training preferred.

· Knowledge of CCTV systems & functions. Experience with Dahua and Avigilon products.

· A valid driver’s license is preferred.

· Possess excellent communication skills.

· Must have experience in leading teams, building and executing Loss Prevention strategy.

· Ability to sit for sustained periods to attend on-site and off-site meetings, perform paperwork activities, travel and drive.

· Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park site, and interact with employees.

· Ability to climb stairs to gain access to upper level of buildings and venues.
