Core Accounts Transformation Product Owner, VP

Treasury and Trade Solution (TTS) is part of Citi’s Services organization. TTS is a leading provider of cash management, treasury, trade, clearing, depository receipts and commercial cards services. TTS has a global network spanning more than 100 countries and is unique in the industry for its reach, interoperability and flexibility. We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains.

One of the key functions within Services is Core Banking which is responsible for capabilities such as a DDA, payments, liquidity, billing, statements and digital channels.  Core Banking Product and Technology teams are undergoing a multi-year transformation to rationalize and standardize client offerings, retire legacy infrastructure and build out next generation, best-in-class capabilities to support client needs across multiple geographies.

This individual will be accountable for defining business requirements for Citi's Core DDA platform applications globally and executing against those requirements to achieve the transformation initiatives critical milestones. The position requires an individual who is equal parts Subject Matter Expert, Thought Leader and Execution Driver. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, combined with relevant knowledge or experience in Core Banking or related business processes and functions. This is a high-touch, hands on role that will require the candidate to understand the details of complex problems while simultaneously being able to distill key messages though executive level communications. The role will partner closely with various product, technology, and operations teams around the world.


Responsibilities:

The Core Accounts Transformation Product Owner partners across product disciplines, assists in managing the overall performance of a given product suite and monitors performance drivers for the products and portfoliosImplements performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on cross-sell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensionsAssists Stakeholders in building skills needed to identify client needs, and proposes solutions in line with business objectivesManages ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of productsRepresent customer needs and provide strategic direction on product development features, functionality and overall competitivenessPartners closely with stakeholders to identify and size client experience opportunitiesBuild consensus and awareness of value proposition throughout the organization and key partnersParticipates in and prepares materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes, ensures products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globallyCollaborates with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clientsManage product risk and control, documentation, credit, legal and regulatory riskParticipates in/facilitates product discussions with partners in asset distribution, legal, credit risk, operations, and systems capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of program expansionsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.This position may mentor and coach team members that is responsible for supporting ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution


Qualifications:

6-10 years of experienceLevel of expertise and demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development disciplineAbility to make complex judgments and to provide solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternativesIn-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutionsAbility to apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situationsDeveloped diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customersExperience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior managers


Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$114,720.00 - $172,080.00
