YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

General ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management: Oversee financial operations, ensuring profitability and efficiencyCoordination: Work with other departments to support plant operations through financial analysis and reportingAudit and Support: Analyze and monitor programs, processes, and trends, reporting variances and control issuesCapacity Management: Balance machine and personnel capacities with long-term demandStandard Cost CalculationCost Calculation: Calculate standard unit costs for products, including conversion costs and material developmentMonitoring: Track product life cycle management and ensure timely standard costing for new productsBudgeting: Balance the annual budget and communicate COGS changesInvestmentsCapital Planning: Coordinate capital investments and develop expenditure plansGeneral AdministrationSupport: Provide direction for administrative matters like accounting, payroll, and procurementSystemsIT Support: Manage local SAP functionalities and ensure compliance with proceduresMaster Data Management: Ensure timely delivery of master data for various processesCompliance and RisksContract Analysis: Analyze contracts for financial impacts and risksRisk Monitoring: Continuously monitor operational risksAudit Compliance: Ensure compliance with audit and control functions

 

 

WHO YOU ARE:

 

University Degree in Finance or Accounting preferredFinancial management or production controlling or in manufacturing/supply chain positions with in-plant operations including cost accounting, budgeting, capital review, and auditing preferredVery good controlling knowledge in all technical operations including COGS controlling, DCF calculations, Supply Chain MetricsKnowledge of relevant system landscape (SAP, data.one, etc.)Fluent in English – reading, writing, speaking and hearingJapanese – Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)  N2 or abovePractical Judgement – Evaluate and select alternatives, understand implications of actionsDecision Making – Recognize important information, consider alternatives, make timely decisionsPlanning & Organizing – Develop short and long-term objectives, effectively use resourcesTeamwork – Work productively with others, seek opportunities to bring people together
