Your Role

Join Atlas Copco Comptec LLC as a Core Design Engineer where you will develop, design, and detail the core components and assemblies for Atlas Copco centrifugal compressors. As a member of the Core Engineering team, you will be under the supervision of the Core Engineering Team Leader. Your responsibilities will involve collaboration with fellow Core Design Engineers, and the work arrangement will follow a hybrid schedule, with the office located in Voorheesville, NY. 

You will prepare models and drawings of components, sub-components and assemblies in PTC Creo. You will perform detailed engineering calculations related to the design of compressors and sub-components.You will provide technical support within the group and to manufacturing, applications engineering, and field service. You will review design and approve process of core components and assemblies. You will maintain schedule and keep design records. You will attend kick-off meetings and design review meetings. You will provide feedback and corrections to project budgets and schedules.  

 
To succeed, you will need  

A Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. 1 or more years using 3D modeling software.
