Job Summary and Responsibilities

Looking for talented system engineers to join Goldman’s mission-critical enterprise messaging engineering team. You will be doing hands-on engineering, writing code to enhance this critical technology with a focus on functional correctness, message durability, system security, and more. 

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

4-7 years of working experience deploying and operating production-grade messaging infrastructure across multiple enterprise use cases; expected expertise should be in Apache Kafka and Apache Zookeeper. Working experience with Java is required.Working experience on building and deploying software on Linux-based platformsWorking experience on clustered products.Working knowledge Versions control software like GIT and its pipeline management.Working knowledge on scripting languages such as bash, python.Demonstrable experience in analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving production issues.Demonstrable experience in developing effective monitoring solutions, automation, and procedures to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Bachelors or Engineering Degree in Computer Science preferred.
