Job Description SummaryThe “GA Core” Product Line Leader drives the overall business strategy of the GA mainstream products portfolio, focusing on market demand, product management, and technology differentiation. He/She will have direct responsibility over the product management and the technology development of a portfolio generating ~$1B revenues, leveraging a team of ~500 domain experts and optimizing the allocation of ~$50M of R&D spend.
The leader will oversee the industrialization, go to market strategy, and commercial development of the portfolio, interacting with Grid Automation supply chain, regions, customers, and industry leaders.
The leader will also interact within the broader GE Vernova, Electrification segment and Grid teams to maximize collaboration, cross businesses initiatives, impact, and performance.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
Develop customer connections, understand industry trends & growth opportunities for related segmentsDefine “GA Core” strategy, products/solutions roadmap, and business casesDrive technology differentiation and roadmap, in coordination with GA CTOOwn wing-to-wing NPI program management and executionManage Products & Solutions life cycle, in coordination with GA regions and Global Supply ChainPartner with GA regions to define marketing, commercial growth, delivery, and services strategiesBuild efficient organization structure and diverse teams. Develop talents and capabilities to support individuals’ development and maximize business performanceDevelop internal and external relationships to identify, lead or support cross-portfolio initiatives and projectsContribute to Grid Automation long term strategy definition and execution, in coordination with GA CTOPropose partnerships and acquisitions to meet business growth initiatives.Basic Requirements:
Master’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge/experienceExtensive experience in product management, technology development, and/or business managementDesired Characteristics:
Domain knowledge strongly preferred in Electricity Transmission, Distribution, Industrial, Automation marketsStrong business & technical acumen: A strong interest in business development, commercial aspects is an essential component to be successful in this roleExcellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influential skillsTakes the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativityAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
