*Reporting to the Coreshack Supervisor, you will be part of the Production Geology Department. You will be responsible for processing and sampling/cutting diamond drill core. You will also ensure that goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Pickup drill core from headframe/drill site, open boxes and arrange in order; Checking for block footage error and proper labelling; Cut/Bag core as per training procedure including QA/QC samples; Complete lab analysis forms and deliver to various labs; Palletize/dump logged and sampled core boxes; Maintain good housekeeping at all times, ensure proper PPE and tools are used for all tasks; Operate forklift as per proper training, moving core skids with core or samples and other materials; Take part in storing pulps and rejects as required; Assist geologists as required. *Reporting to the Coreshack Supervisor, you will be part of the Production Geology Department.
