Coremaker - 2nd shift

As the Coremaker on the 2nd shift, you will operate coremaking equipment to ensure adherence to the correct manufacturing processes while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols.

You Will:

Inspect completed cores for visual defects and ensure quality standards are met.

File, pack, and label completed cores.

Perform routine operational maintenance and cleaning of the coremaking machine.

Report any mechanical malfunctions or quality issues to maintenance or the supervisor.

Transport finished products to the designated storage area.

Cross-train between Redford and Shalco machines for operational versatility.

Perform routine housekeeping to maintain an organized, safe, and environmentally compliant work area.

You Have:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to read and understand English preferred.

Physical capability to occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds individually and up to 80 pounds with assistance.

Completion of these requirements is necessary for finalizing employment offers and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
