Corp Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Summary

The Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager drives teams across the supply chain using lean, six sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Includes overseeing the development, planning, and execution of strategies and metrics to track and sustain improvements. Utilizes a DMAIC approach to reduce costs, eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce product defects while ensuring adherence to the Zeus Operating System.

 

Job Responsibilities

 Align and prioritize improvement initiatives linked to business strategy and business planning at corporate and site operational levels. Collaborate with leadership cross-functionally to ensure effective execution of improvement projects and realization of impactful cost improvement Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the organization Develop Continuous Improvement resources consistent with the needs of corporate and facility opportunities and processes. Note, most resources will be managed at the facility level, although at times a central ad hoc team might be required to work on corporate/business improvement processes, manage cross functional or transformational improvement projects or support the improvement planning process Partner both internally and externally to actively standardize processes, reduce costs, and collaborate with other functional teams • A keen focus on reducing waste and increasing value-added activities across the corporation Utilize data analysis to identify areas of opportunity and make strategic decisions Develop process enhancement strategies and share best practices Work closely with the MCE (Manufacturing Center of Excellence) partners (Manufacturing PMO and Corporate Maintenance).

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of five years relevant experience. Specialized training in Continuous Improvement and experience driving continuous improvement programs Lean Manufacturing Certification a plus Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required Demonstrated leadership skills-principles and people Experienced working with multiple locations preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Superior interpersonal abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff at all levels Resourceful and well organized
