DescriptionThe Corporate Director of Business Intelligence & Transformation will be a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving data-driven insights and innovation for supporting the development and implementation of innovative healthcare solutions.
This individual will play a critical role in shaping the transformation of healthcare delivery through advanced analytics, strategic planning, and operational execution.
This position requires a unique blend of strategic vision, technological savvy, healthcare domain knowledge, project/program management expertise, and a mastery of continuous improvement methods to support breakthrough innovation.
The Corp. Director will lead a cross-functional team to visualize actionable insights that support strategic initiatives, improve patient outcomes, optimize care delivery, and guide Emory Healthcare journey to achieve breakthrough innovation and sustainable growth in an evolving healthcare landscape.
The Corporate Director will enable performance transparency and provide leadership for key Business Transformation Office initiatives in collaboration with organizational partners.
The Corp. Director will develop and manage the execution of a research and publication program for the EHC Transformation Office.
This position will report to the Vice President of Business Transformation.
Data Analysis & Insights:
Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytics and data-driven models to generate actionable insights across all areas of the organization, including clinical performance, operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial performance Provide insights to inform strategic decisions related to healthcare delivery, policy changes, market trends, and patient care initiatives Manage and optimize healthcare data platforms, ensuring the integration of diverse data sources (e.g., clinical, operational, financial) to drive insights and support predictive analytics.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop, deliver and sustain performance visualization capability for key Business Transformation
Office initiatives Transformation Execution:
Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring that data insights and recommendations are translated into actionable, sustainable changes. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by utilizing process re-engineering, Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimize performance.Develop execution strategies to ensure successful implementation of new technologies, processes, or models of care delivery.Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, healthcare strategists, and transformation consultants. Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with clinical, operational, technology, and finance teams to ensure alignment to strategic goals.Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and resources necessary to execute high-impact transformation projects.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Communicate complex data insights and transformation recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding. Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and technology vendors, to align on transformation objectives and initiatives. Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and other external engagements, promoting the organizations transformation efforts and building its reputation as an industry leader.Publication Program Administration:
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish publication program objectives and governance (publication scope includes key business transformation initiatives) Develop, deliver and sustain publication program performance visualization capabilitiesOversee execution of publication program utilizing industry standard Program Management methodologies Regulatory,Compliance & Transformational Alignment:
Ensure that all healthcare insights, transformation activities, and data management practices comply with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and organizational policies.Stay current on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
