Job description

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. MANDATORY TECHNOLOGIES 5-6 + years of experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS & jQuery3 – 5 + years of experience in SQL or Oracle 3 – 5 + years of experience in application design, development, SDLC lifecycle. DESIRED TECHNOLOGIES 2 - 3 + years of experience in VB, VB Classic, Classic ASP, ASP.Net, ADO.Net1 - 2 + years’ experience with AWSPROJECT ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position requires candidate with strong Operations/Application support knowledge with some development in any AWSProduction support – May need to work during weekends/holidays for any critical/high issues. - MandatoryOpen to learning new technologies and willing to undergo training on technologiesMust have excellent communication (written and Verbal) and Analytical skillsAbility to work in a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.Demonstrate knowledge of software engineering best practices such as version control, software packaging and software release management Must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to work in a team-oriented environment Collaborate with others to work on the Application
