Corp Sr Marketing Analyst

Job Summary: USI is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to be an integral part of a corporate marketing leadership team. Responsible for developing and executing national strategies and direction. Analyze and support marketing analytics and develop KPIs to improve business performance. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver who can confidently communicate their findings to executives and take on new challenges with increasing responsibility. Currently there are staff within the broader Marketing team that provide measures specific to their areas (e.g., email, video, web analytics). The purpose of this role is to pull all of the data across the department together, and close gaps to help show its combined contribution.

 Key Responsibilities:

Consult with marketing partners to define department KPIs and recommend go-forward analytics and related dashboards. Build data models and establish API connections in collaboration with internal data owners. Build and maintain dynamic Excel-based reporting tools to facilitate operating company management. Develop a comprehensive enterprise KPI dashboard in PowerBi to display key operational metrics and ROI. Create additional drill-down dashboards as needed. Research best-in-class channels/methods to establish benchmarking/targets Collaborate closely with Marketing partners to support and measure KPIs specific to their areas of expertise, such as email campaigns, web analytics, and social media. Responsible for comprehensive analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for marketing campaigns. Includes Surge and Executive Series. Identify new and unique ways to improve campaign reports and marketing processes. Participate in the integration of marketing platform data, CRM data, and relevant enterprise data. Develop team and leadership presentation material to be reviewed by senior management. Prepare for and lead presentations for national budgeting and forecast meetings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

3 plus years of related MARKETING ANALYTICS experience.Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required.Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and self-motivated work-ethic.Ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex problems with logic and creativity.Capacity to visualize and discuss abstract concepts and to apply them in practice.Experience in analysis, data modeling and presentation developmentStrong Excel skills required, Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI knowledge is preferredMust be able to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced business environment.10% domestic travel should be expected in this position.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include walking, sitting, standing, bending, and typing.
