Expected salary range of $116,100 to $129,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). **PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION** Responsible for oversight and implementation the station technical programs including: Dosimetry, Instrumentation, Respiratory programs, self-assessments, procedure implementation, radiological shipping, and other programmatic processes as assigned. Implements the long-term planning processes of Constellation to ensure programs are up to date from a regulatory and a technical perspective. Is accountable for performing the technical evaluations commensurate with program evaluations for internal and external exposure evaluations, isotopic mix trending, whole body count reviews, and other calculations as required by the program. Implements continuous learning with regards to both technical and regulatory changes in RP programs and incorporates at the stations. This position will require travelling both during outage and non-outage times. **PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES** + Perform and support station program reviews in dosimetry, instrumentation and respiratory protection. + Coordinate procedure changes to programs with the site and fleet and write transition plans to insure appropriate communications and change management. + Implement corrective actions, self-assessments, and benchmarking into station technical programs. Tracking and monitoring Radiation Protection metrics for technical programs and generate corrective actions to ensure programs are free of regulatory risk. + Perform calculations, technical evaluations and documentation review for internal and external exposure, dosimetry exposure discrepancies, approval of vendor respiratory programs for the stations, blind spike testing and any other technical program requirements. + Perform assessments of programs to identify problems and systematically correct. Performs technical calculations required for program fidelity. + Perform the roles and duties of a shipping specialist including package documentation and peer reviews, as required. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Four-year degree in health physics or science related field and a minimum five years experience in Radiation Protection + Two year degree in health physics or science related field and a minimum six years experience in radiation protection + In Lieu of degree, four years as qualified ANSI Rad Protection Technician, or at least eight years radiation protection related experience in a nuclear power facility. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT) certification + Certified Health Physicist (CHP) + Knowledge of Significance Determination Process (SDP) and other regulations used to implement radiation protection programmatic requirements.
