As a Corporate Account Manager at IDEXX, you’ll be responsible for a number of Corporate accounts in Europe. This role is essential to build and execute plans as well as collaborate and manage the expectations of our internal and external customers.
Corporate Accounts have doubled in recent years, a trend which will continue; therefore, it is essential that we work effectively and proactively with our network.
 

In This Role:
 

Your day to day will be (but not limited to) – having meetings with key decision makers/influencers in customer leadership; this could be at head office, country managers, operation managers, clinical board leads, learning and development or marketing. It’s essential we are aligning with anyone who has decision rights with how their customers/clinics work with IDEXX diagnostics.

In addition, you will be:

The Strategic partner to the accounts – You’ll develop, evolve, and strengthen strategic partnerships and relationships.Coordinating with/across your accounts to meet the customer needs.Identifying business and economic challenges of the market in which the customer operates, recommending, driving, and implementing solutions.Collaborating with the Director of Corporate Accounts to develop strategic plans to develop the projects required to achieve success & facilitate delivery to the customer.Partnering cross-functionally across IDEXX Organization to facilitate and coordinate business, sales, and technical assistance in support of the Corporate Account business plans and programmes.

Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build strong relationships with customers & colleagues and to work with all levels internally and externally.High levels of emotional intelligence are required to help professionally manage situations which may be challenging at times.Solid analytical skills - ability to analyse problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations in support of goals. You’re highly capable of assessing the marketplace and identifying customer needs.You think strategically and you’re used to working with complex strategic accounts; this role is not just about the quick wins – you are equally comfortable working to longer term objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. Ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport; persuades others; and gains understanding – fluent business English is essential.You will be required to travel internationally, being close to an international airport is advantageous.Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate teams to deliver products and services and meet customer expectations; it’s important you are able to influence without authority.Being comfortable in dealing with ambiguity is a desirable trait. We don’t always have all the information to make a decision, when one needs to be made.Situational agility is essential, you are tenacious and adapt quickly to change.Project management skills including planning, scheduling, and meeting deliverables with the ability to build business plans and programmes are advantageous.
