Position Summary:

The Corporate Account Manager is responsible to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This includes developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Corporate Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among assigned customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.


Responsibilities:

Ø Exceed all activity standard for prospecting, meetings, presentations, proposals, and closed business

Ø Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to achieve account growth

Ø Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.

Ø Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.

Ø Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.

Ø Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.

Ø Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.

Ø Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.

Ø Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.

Ø Identifying industry trends.

Ø Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience

Ø Work with ABEC business unit Managers to qualify, develop, and close opportunities

Ø Maintain a close working relationship with other offices to drive activity/results through the leveraging and consistent application of corporate best practice sales processes and initiatives

Ø Provide regular reporting of activities including forecasts and call reports

Ø Providing input and analysis of market and industry trends

Ø Monitors competition activity as appropriate

Ø Maintains professional and technical knowledge, and establishes critical professional networks

Ø Maintains customer and territory knowledge

Ø Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through relationship building activities

Ø Control expenses to meet budget guidelines

Ø Execute other tasks as assigned

Ø Ability to travel when required

Ø Provide timely feedback to senior management

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

Ø 4 Year degree in Science, Engineering, or Business plus a proven record of successful consultative sales experience, including strategic selling and negotiation. 

Ø Three to five years’ experience selling within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry or experience with complex outside direct sales success using consultative and solution-oriented sales approaches.

Ø Knowledge in one or all of the following industries: Engineering, manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals.

Ø Ability to call on and influence the decision makers in an organization for the areas represented (operations, quality, business unit, product development, procurement, engineering, etc). 

Ø Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environment.

Ø Ability to work cross functionally within the ABEC organization to achieve results.

Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ø Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment

Ø Minimal 2 years’ experience utilizing CRM software
