Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Accountant or Senior Corporate Accountant who is ready to take on diverse challenges and projects within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments, including operations, transportation, accounts payable, and plant accounting, providing valuable insights into multiple facets of our business.

 

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements and operational reports to management. Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Manage specific GL accounts, including lease accounting, property tax, Medical/Dental, and railcar accounting. Perform month-end close duties and assist in developing accounting systems and controls. Contribute to special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
