Corporate Affairs & Comminucation Intern
We are looking for a Corporate Affairs & Communication Intern to join our dynamic team for a six-month paid internship. The position is located in the Casablanca office and reporting to Communication Manager N&WA.
This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communication and affairs within a global organization. The intern will support the team in executing communication strategies, managing media relations, and contributing to stakeholder engagement initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Communication
Support the organization of events such as press conferences, internal meetings, and public representation activities. Assist in drafting and editing communication materials, including press releases, social media posts, and internal newsletters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in communication strategies. Help manage JTI’s corporate website and social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the company’s communication guidelines. Monitor media coverage and social media channels to track engagement and address misinformation. Participate in crisis communication planning and rehearsals, including drafting holding statements and preparing press kits.
Corporate Affairs
Conduct research on regulatory and fiscal challenges impacting the business and prepare advocacy materials. Maintain documentation and record management systems to ensure compliance with established guidelines. Build and engage a solid network of stakeholders to support Corporate Affairs strategies.
Qualifications:
Recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, International Studies or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French (Arabic is a plus). Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with digital platforms. Interest in corporate affairs, sustainability, and communication strategies.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical and research skills.
