Corporate and Workplace Solutions includes the following pillars:
Workplace Experience: Encompasses end-to-end strategic real estate work from transactions to facilities. Departments include On-Site Solutions (inclusive of Facilities Management, Hospitality Operations, Document Management and Ground Transportation), Events, Client & Production Engineering, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development, and Capital Management.The Office of Global Security: Manages and implements arrangements for the protection of the firm’s personnel, physical security, fire safety and crisis management. Departments also include Risk and Health & Safety. Regional Office Leadership: Supports the firm in driving regional priorities and strategy in Dallas and Salt Lake City in partnership with local leadership.Chief Operating Officer (COO): Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include CWS Management and CWS Engineering - which provides enabling engineering solutions supporting real estate and facilities management, on-site solutions, safety and security and CWS data and analytics.JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Document Management Group (DMG) sits within the Workplace Experience pillar of the Corporate and Workplace Solutions division. We are a closely-connected global team, with responsibility for the commercial & operational oversight of the firm’s extensive Document Management support requirements. This includes:
Managing a portfolio of centrally-delivered services (broadly covering presentations & creative support, regulatory client communications, workplace printing services, translations, mail & delivery logistics, records management, and other specialist support functions).Selection & oversight of the third-party vendors who perform our operational services.Ownership & control of a significant global operating budget.Active engagement with key stakeholder across the firm (primarily from the revenue-producing divisions), to ensure our Document Management services are continuing to meet the evolving needs of the business.Supporting the provision & strategy of various technology tools, used across our Document Management operations.Risk management & incident remediation.We are looking for a driven & motivated individual to join our team at Associate level, with scope for onward development and progression.
This position reports to the head of the Document Management Group for the Americas region – and will include the following key responsibilities:
Provide functional expertise across our portfolio of Document Management services (with particular focus on ‘Client Communications’ and ‘Records Management’), in order to support business requirements, contribute to our service development strategy, and actively influence our commercial decision-making. Manage the day-to-day oversight of our Document Management vendor relationships, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with contractual commitments.Own and support key initiatives within our global Document Management Business Plan.Actively contribute to the commercial governance of our Document Management business – including the identification & execution of expense efficiency opportunities.Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders at multiple levels across the organization.Participate in procurement project teams, to evaluate vendor bids / inform vendor selection decisions across our global Document Management business.QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience – preferably within the Document Management sector, or in an operational management roleStrong vendor management and client engagement skillsInnovative mindset that is acutely focused on improving the workplace experience. Strong communication skills – including the ability to write reports, develop presentations, and communicate postings & recommendations to divisional leadership Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office softwareStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsDetail oriented and highly organizedSkilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasksExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
