We’re looking for a Corporate Applications Governance Senior Manager to join our ever-evolving Corporate Applications team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team
The Corporate Applications team are a centralised function that will help manage and maintain all applications in use across Worldpay. We will partner with all business and technology teams to ensure Worldpay are maximising the applications functionality. The team are aligned to business functions and work in partnership with other Worldpay Technology Services teams.
What you’ll own
Operationalize the Corporate Applications function
Implement and monitor standards: Establish and oversee standards and processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability across Corporate Applications
Build a comprehensive catalog of standards across all services, incorporating input from stakeholders and SMEs as needed
Periodically review and update standards, adapting them to evolving business needs and industry developments
Communicate standards clearly within Corporate Applications to ensure compliance, and to enable Corporate Applications to support business functions in adhering to these standards (e.g., guiding functions in defining functional requirements)
Establish effective ways of working: Develop guiding principles and processes to promote collaboration and consistent operational practices
Define principles and processes that streamline Corporate Applications’ approach to driving actionable outcomes, including structured meeting charters for accountability and efficiency
Set clear guidelines for engagement with business functions, including well-defined escalation paths to handle issues promptly and transparently
Implement a process for gathering and documenting lessons learned to continuously refine and enhance processes
Coordinate project manager allocation with Domain leads to ensure that project management resources align with the business’s highest priorities
Coordinate and drive governance & reporting
Produce and disseminate key reports: Create and manage essential reports to provide oversight and performance visibility
Develop and present key Corporate Applications reports at established intervals (e.g., Corporate Applications report card for the Corporate Applications Operating Committee), ensuring that leadership has an accurate view of function performance
Solicit input from relevant stakeholders to ensure reports are comprehensive and reflect on-the-ground insights
Collaborate on standards adherence and performance reporting:
Work closely with the Domain team to monitor and report on standards adherence, readiness for implementation or separation, and project delivery progress.
Partner with FP&A to provide transparency on Corporate Applications costs and budgets, including insights into cost per application to guide cost optimization efforts.
What you bring
At least 10 years of related information systems experience and 3+ years in a leadership capacity
Experience managing a portfolio of software or corporate applications and understand how they are utilized across large organizations
Ability to influence and work with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Excellent communications skills – written and verbally – can translate technical terms and concepts easily into business-oriented language and vis versa.
Strong empathetic approach to customer service – naturally builds trust and confidence at the start of relationships
Ability to make decisions and work with ambiguity.
Analytical and attentive to detail, but can also step back and appreciate the bigger picture
