Job Description:At Regions, the Corporate Relationship Specialist provides general administrative and sales support to Corporate Relationship Managers and renders an extraordinarily high level of services to corporate bank clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Acts as the primary point of contact for the Corporate Banking clients and managing all servicing requests related to the client’s overall banking relationshipPerforms daily support activities related to client relationships and keeping the respective Relationship Managers (RMs) informed of client activity and interactions, as appropriateResponsible for data integrity for the overall portfolio ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely and efficient mannerEffectively communicates, internally and externally, to resolve client issues and concernsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing, fast paced environmentSupports the Relationship Manager(s) with miscellaneous administrative tasksProactively identify and execute on process improvements to enhance client experience and deal team effectivenessAssists with event execution, special projects and pitch booksDeposits:Collaborates with RM to determine best deposit solutionsOpens/Closes new deposit productsCollects, reviews, and scans all necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) documentsWorks closely with Treasury Management (TM) Team to successfully onboard new clientsProvides guidance to deposit client and route to appropriate TM resource for servicingPulls daily Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF/Overdrafts)Processes deposit account maintenanceCompletes deposit account research and requestsWorks closely with Branches to ensure corporate clients are onboarded with ongoing client servicingCredits/Loans:Acts as liaison between Credit Products Underwriting, Corporate Loan Fulfillment and the Relationship Management teamsConducts and assists in loan due diligence including collecting documentation and record keeping, etc.Assists with due diligence and application for letter of credit closing (i.e., new, renewal, modification)Assists in clearing Post-Closing Loan Documentation ExceptionsProcesses loan paymentsProcess subsequent advances on lines of creditCompliance/Regulatory:Maintains data integrity in all applicable systemsCreates Account Record in OneView, to serve as client CIP formCollects client information on all applicable parties and entitiesObtains and reviews entity documentation for all applicable clients/parties to transactionCompletes Beneficial Ownership (BO) Certification FormsFollows all appropriate procedures for properties located in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA)Reporting:Manages data organization within RGA to ensure client records are properly grouped for accurate 360 reportingCompiles reports for Relationship Manager(s) such as 360 Report, Power BI Reports, OneView Pipeline Report, Overdrafts Report, Maturities, Past Due and Exception ReportingMay guide and/or train less experienced Corporate Relationship SpecialistsThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and six (6) or more years general banking experienceOr, a Bachelor's degree and four (4) years banking or client support experiencePreferences

This position will require a minimum of 4 days in Regions Charlotte Uptown office.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
