Utilize and build reporting tools to analyze business functions. Build and create database structures as necessary. Recommend operational objectives by gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data. Evaluate reports and data output to ensure accuracy and proper formatting. Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Assess and evaluate business processes for improvement, efficiency, and optimization. Develop and implement business solutions to improve business processes. Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support business strategies. Produce accurate and timely reports on a frequent or scheduled basis. Collaborate with other personnel to identify operational opportunities. Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system. The requirements of a Business Analyst: Capable of working under direction and receiving guidance with respect to job duties and responsibilities. Positive attitude, courteous demeanor, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills and the desire to succeed. 2+ years of experience in Technology, Accounting, Information Technology, or Finance preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Math, or Finance preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial and marketing reports, policy manuals, and technical procedures.
