The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Corporate Business Manager VIC/TAS to join our Corporate Accounts team at Baxter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing opportunity management plans for the implementation of agreements in individual hospitals across Victoria.
Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with the key Hospital Executives and customers, building Baxter’s profile and driving commercial growth across our Tier 1 customers. You will work collaboratively with all Baxter Commercial business units driving maximum efficiency, to achieve sales goals in line with the Sales Execution Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with executives of key hospitals to raise Baxter’s profile and build awareness of challenges, issues, and opportunities
Work closely and communicate with collaborators in Baxter Business units and Corporate Accounts Team for efficient opportunity and agreement management
Develop business tactical plans for hospital accounts, recommending development or modification to company or divisional strategies based on market trends
Report market trends information to the Corporate Accounts team and Commercial teams across Australia to assist in strategy development
Work with the ANZ team and divisional resources to achieve budgets and targets
Report to company and divisional heads on changes in Government policy, health initiatives, and competitor activity
Lead all aspects of customer contracts, including discount/rebate programs.
Represent Baxter Healthcare in major negotiations, conventions, seminars, and official occasions, and liaise with business partners including Government representatives, industry associations, and major suppliers to achieve company objectives
Ensure strong teamwork and high skill proficiency across ANZ.
Requirements:
Tertiary degree in Business, Science or related fields
10 years + commercial experience working in medical devices or pharmaceutical industries
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence important individuals
Ability to build strong understanding and relationships with executive stakeholders both internally and externally
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating outstanding collaboration skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Willingness to travel interstate as required.
