Job DescriptionBosch is looking for a Corporate Communications and Governmental Affairs to support its engagement across Southeast Asia and around a range of policy and communication areas relevant to our business. Reporting to the regional corporate communications and governmental affairs Head, you will play a key role in developing and executing public affairs initiatives while representing Bosch’s interests with external stakeholders across government, industry, and business chamber partners.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies and approaches to drive strategic engagement with government, industry and relevant partners that achieve Bosch’s business objectivesMonitor, identify, analyse, and act on emerging changes, trends and issues in the macroeconomic, trade, political, and regulatory environment, including the competitive landscape and impact of government policies on BoschRepresent Bosch in cultivating relationships with external stakeholders, including government officials, business chambers, embassies and organisations.Prepare briefs and other materials to inform and support Bosch’s policy positions with internal and external stakeholdersProvide guidance to team members across the organisation on approach and interactions with relevant government bodies to achieve strategic alignment on Bosch’s initiatives with government prioritiesSupport in delivering thought leadership initiatives on relevant platforms in Southeast AsiaDevelop and coordinate opportunities for executive engagements on key topics with government officials, including high-level political visits in Germany and Southeast AsiaCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders for effective business-enabling activities in Southeast AsiaQualificationsBachelor’s degree in relevant field such as public affairs, government affairs, public policy, public relations, communicationsStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage with complex stakeholders with different cultural and occupational backgroundsExperience in working with government agencies or advocacy groupsProactive team player experienced in project management and able to work effectively with teams across organizational and functional boundariesExcellent written and spoken English.
