Corporate Communications Associate

Role

The Corporate Communications Associate reports to the VP of Corporate Communications & Employee Experience and is responsible for supporting our corporate communications strategy with a focus on enhancing the employee experience. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and governance of the firm’s intranet site, the Loop, maintaining corporate content and monitoring the site for appropriate visual design and navigation. They will work with Content Owners and Publishers to check and review/approve their content, help enhance search optimization, and adhere to content strategy and management principles. They will be responsible for ongoing training of publishers and familiarization for new and existing users. Additionally, the associate will support AB’s internal communications related to the employee experience, including onboarding, engagement surveys, recognition, and culture initiatives.

RESPONSIBILTIES

Maintain proper publishing and QA processes across the intranet siteDirect content managers to ensure the integrity of information provided on all intranet pagesWork with stakeholders to understand their communications needs and involve them in planning and problem solvingManage site permissionsAssist with training of staff on the use of the intranet’s publishing systemHelp enforce corporate communications protocols, standards and policiesEnsure consistency in content, while allowing autonomy and customization from local editorsMonitor user-generated contentMonitor site analytics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Produce monthly reports; recommend how to meet/exceed goals and identify areas of improvementLiaise with IT and software vendor on technical questions of implementation and upgradesCommunicate actively with all main stakeholder and user groupsWork closely with internal teams to develop employee experience communications including digital signage, intranet articles, and newslettersOversee governance of the firm’s Employee Wellness Groups (EWGs)

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.Experience managing websites and/or intranets preferredExperience with content management systems, some HTML, social media, and image editingExcellent organizational and project coordination skillsExperience developing content for an internal audience preferredProven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environmentDemonstrated ability to be a flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver and self-starterExperience communicating to a broad employee populationAbility to effectively collaborate with coworkers and subject matter experts in a matrixed environmentAbility to build relationships both in-person and virtuallyFamiliarity with effective use of video and/or digital design
