Our team communicates with those who buy, sell, invest, and depend on us, using channels such as social media, corporate website, graphic design, internal communications, executive communications, media relations, public relations, and corporate social responsibility actions. **About the Summer Internship Program:**
**Colgate-Palmolive's Global Corporate Communications Team is excited to welcome talented individuals to join our Summer Internship Program. This year, we are offering an outstanding opportunity for a Social Media Intern. As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in crafting our digital presence and engaging global audiences. If you are an outside of the box, creative thinker with a passion for social media, this could be the job for you!**
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative strategies for upcoming projects and campaigns.**
+ **Ideate, create and share unique social content that speaks to Colgate-Palmolive.**
+ **Assist in the development of social media calendars and ensure timely posting.**
+ **Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.**
+ **Leverage performance data and competitive analysis to generate comprehensive reports that offer strategic insights for performance improvement on paid, owned and earned strategies.**
+ **Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve engagement.**
+ **Perform social listening analysis and pull sentiment reports for social accounts.**
**Qualifications:**
+ **A deep passion for social / digital media and the evolving digital media landscapes.**
+ **Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices**
+ **Familiarity with social media management platforms or a strong willingness to learn them.**
+ **Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and outside the box.**
+ **Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to optimally develop content and collaborate with team members.**
+ **Knowledge of social reporting and analytics, or willingness to learn.**
+ **Proven time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.**
+ **Keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality content and execution.**
+ **Excellent written and verbal communication skills to optimally work across the team.**
+ **Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.**
+ **Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree as a Sophomore to Senior with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.**
+ **Must be able to work in a hybrid setup from our New York, NY office.**
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $20.00 - $24.50 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
