Position Overview

We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic intern to work in our Kent, Ohio, office and help us tell Davey’s story to our clients, employees and the larger green industry.

The ideal candidate would be able to pair clear, engaging copy while prioritizing the company’s core services, expertise capabilities and values. Any candidate must pass a writing and editing test without the use of AI and be an energetic, self-starter.

 

This position is based out of our office in Kent, Ohio, and will start in May 2025.

Job Duties

Primary duties would be to help with Davey’s Public Relations team on projects including:

Scheduling weekly podcast episodes and brainstorming ideas for future episodes Writing copy for our “Trees of Davey” annual calendar Uploading media interviews to Davey.com’s Newsroom and YouTube page Writing and publishing press releases
 

Secondary duties of this position include:

Coordinating media posts with Davey’s social media team Potentially helping with local events, including event preparation, staffing and breakdown Writing stories for our internal publication, The Davey Bulletin, when needed Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications Must be a current college student.  Must be able to commute to our offices in Kent.  Additional Information
