The Corporate Controller for Censis will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our SaaS business financial reporting, accounting operations and compliance for the Company.   This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial statements, optimizing financial processes, and overseeing internal controls and other related compliance as an operating company of Fortive, a large public company.  The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of SaaS financials, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and GAAP compliance, with experience in a high-growth or public company environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes, including teams responsible for customer invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and technical accounting. Oversee revenue recognition (ASC 606) and ensure compliance with SaaS specific and Fortive accounting policies. Lead and mentor a dynamic team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Spearhead financial technology upgrades, including ERP enhancements, use of artificial intelligence and robotic processing automation across accounting operations to deliver results, including in accounts payable, customer invoicing and accounts receivable automation. Coordinating and reporting consolidated U.S. GAAP financial information to the executive team and corporate Parent. Establish financial and operational benchmarks and department level key performance indicators, leveraging the Fortive Business System to drive continuous improvement. Implement and manage systems for tracking deferred revenue, renewals and billing cycles. Develop strategies for optimizing net working capital, including automations across the workflows to consistently deliver results. Oversee sustainment of company Sarbanes Oxley program, including interim testing and reporting on operating effectiveness of internal control environment. Preparation and review of company payroll, commissions and other variable compensation. Partner with the executive leadership team to develop long-term financial strategies, and provide financial analysis and insights compared to monthly forecasts, along with supporting any M&A activities, investment decisions, or other strategic initiatives. Ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

7+ years’ experience in progressive growth within finance and accounting roles, preferably within the SaaS industry. Strong business acumen and application of GAAP and local statutory/tax regulations, specifically understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition. Proven experience leading and inspiring teams to meet business objectives with outstanding results and on-time delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with solid Excel skills. Experience leveraging technology to support and scale a business. Strong U.S. GAAP, SOX and SEC reporting experience Ability to travel up to 25%, or as needed to best support your role and team.

Education:           

Public Accounting roots and Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required.
