Salary Mid-Point: $110,000 Location: Beaver PA Job Type: Permanent IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Corporate Cost Analyst responsible for the accuracy of inventory data as it pertains to cost and profitability by managing and maintaining a multi-million-dollar inventory containing thousands of individual part numbers. This role will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.     

Responsibilities of the Corporate Cost Analyst Monitors all production and product costing, reviews significant variances, advises and implements necessary corrective actions. Support the Commercial team in product costing/gross margin analysis, customer profitability, pricing analysis, and ROI analysis for new revenue generating opportunities. Develop financial return models to support commercial and finance team on profitability improvement opportunities. Maintain consistent guiding principles for cost accounting, including cost type definitions (variable/fixed; direct/indirect), indirect cost allocation methodologies. Assist departments across the company who use cost data and related reporting tools to ensure adequate understanding of the data and proper usage. Review and adjust material, overhead and labor costs. Update and maintain standard costs in ERP for manufactured and finished products. Maintenance of routings and bill of materials to ensure ERP accuracy. Review and analyze daily inventory adjustments and changes.
Requirements of the Corporate Cost Analyst B.S. in Finance or Accounting required 5+ years' experience in general accounting (financial statement, general ledger accounting preferred) 5+ years of responsibility for cost accounting including job costing, bills of material, routings, absorption, etc. Experience handling general accounting and financial analytical responsibilities Large ERP experience a must Good communication skills with attention to detail Capacity to manage multiple priorities and achieve quality results
