Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business at the forefront of the “cloud” computing and service industry.
This attorney will primarily support AWS' international expansion efforts, working cross-functionally with a number of internal teams to plan and execute international expansion strategies. This attorney will provide ongoing legal counsel for senior executives and other business team members. The successful candidate will be a fast learner who is detail-oriented and customer-obsessed, and will be able to work independently and comfortably while making decisions in ambiguous situations.

Key job responsibilities
- Providing advice on regulations concerning the expansion of AWS globally
- Providing compliance-related legal support
- Monitoring and advising the business of upcoming regulatory changes related to those topics
- Formulating, implementing, and maintaining applicable regulatory compliance policies and processes.
