Why We Have This Role

\n\nWe’re looking for a pragmatic, dedicated Corporate Counsel to empower our business teams by solving real problems in a fast-moving environment. This role will focus on negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and partnering closely with internal teams, especially sales, and external partners to protect and enable the company. You’ll support multiple go-to-market teams and help shape long-term legal strategies while mentoring our paralegal professionals. If you enjoy being directly involved in driving results without getting bogged down by theoretical risks, this role puts you at the center of our dynamic legal team. We strive to avoid pretentiousness and instead focus on working hard, having fun, and delivering results.\n\n

How You’ll Find Success

\n\nTake ownership of negotiation and drafting for a variety of customer/partner vendor agreements\nEmbrace pragmatic risk management to keep business moving efficiently\nCollaborate cross-functionally with sales, business teams, and partners\nMentor and support paralegal team members\nContinuously identify ways to improve processes and legal playbooks\nStrategically lead initiatives to develop long-term legal frameworks\nDemonstrate strong communication and partnership skills\n\n

Things You’ll Do

\n\nOwn drafting and negotiation of a range of commercial agreements, including general terms and conditions, data processing and other privacy agreements, business associate agreements, order forms, and others, working closely with sales and other teams in the company\nAct as a trusted partner to business stakeholders to swiftly address legal risks and commercial needs\nOwn internal relationships for certain products and industries\nReview and improve contract templates and legal playbooks to streamline workflows\nLead efforts to educate teams on contract best practices and legal process improvements\nCoach and mentor paralegals and junior legal team members\nOwnership, ownership, ownership\nDevelop and roll out strategic legal initiatives aligned with product and industry demands\n\n

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

\n\nJuris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state\n0 to 4 years of relevant transactional legal experience post-law school\nDemonstrated ownership and proactive problem-solving in contract negotiation and legal risk management\nSkilled attorney with a reputation for being collaborative, pragmatic, and a dependable team player\nNice to have: experience at a top international law firm, a technology company in-house role, technical background, or experience handling tech transactions, interest in privacy\n\n
