Salary Range: $109,334 - $164,001 annually, plus bonus opportunity
As a Corporate Counsel you will proactively provide legal advice and guidance for corporate governance matters impacting business strategy and policies or claims and evaluate the legal risk and impact for Dot Foods and its affiliates.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Oversee the compliance and maintenance for subsidiary corporations and partnership interests, including managing unitholder and shareholder registry, subsidiary board, and committees. Draft, negotiate, review various contracts including transaction documents, and oversee due diligence in M&A transactions. Support corporate financing transactions and commercial matters. Concisely and effectively communicate complex matters. Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.YOU MUST HAVE
Juris Doctorate Degree. Licensed to practice law in MO or IL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent research, organizational, and project management skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 3-4 years of corporate transactional experience.YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Effectiveness in teaching and coaching others. Effective meeting and group facilitation skills.ROLE SPECIFICS
Travel- Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train. Schedule- Monday through Friday; Ability to be on call 7 days a week.WHO WE ARE
