GCG is currently seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our growing Corporate Legal team!

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small in-house legal team supporting a dynamic and growing organization. You’ll play a key role in advising the business on commercial transactions and supporting a range of legal functions including contract management, regulatory compliance, lease management, and corporate governance. If you're a self-starter with a practical mindset and a passion for collaborative problem-solving, we want to hear from you.

 

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement to facilitate in-person with collaboration with GCG's General Council.  While in office, the incumbent to the role would work from our facility located at 675 Spirit Valley Central Dr  Chesterfield, MO 63005.

 What You'll Do

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (supply/distribution agreements, MSAs, NDAs, vendor agreements, etc.)

Provide pragmatic legal guidance on regulatory, compliance, and business strategy matters

Support lease portfolio management and related contractual matters

Interpret contracts and provide risk-based legal advice in a business context

Develop and implement legal policies and contracting processes

Handle corporate filings and registrations across jurisdictions

Conduct legal research and monitor emerging regulatory developments

Collaborate cross-functionally and assist the General Counsel on additional legal projects as needed

What You'll Bring

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate or transactional law, ideally within a law firm or in-house team

Experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred

Proven contract drafting and negotiation skills

Strong judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives

Comfortable working independently and directly with business leaders

Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
