Department OverviewMotorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (F.O.C.) provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of Corporate Credit Specialists  including coaching, motivating and supporting people's development

• Managing Key portfolios (ad hoc requests, annual reviews)

• Setting team goals and driving changes that are in line with company strategy
 • Monitoring activities performed by Corporate Credit Specialists, managing workload and coordinating holidays, time off and overtime to make sure the appropriate level of support is in place and also to maximize the efficiency of work;
 • Understanding of the Corporate Credit Policy and processes as well as risk related to decisions made by the Corporate Credit Team,
 • Understanding company’s financial statements; 
 • Ensuring the processes are completed in accordance to Corporate Credit policy and other company’s standards and procedures;
 • Ensuring all decisions made by the team members are well documented and procedures and models are up to date; 
 • Meeting deadlines and assuring high quality of provided services; 
•Actively looking for efficiencies, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency as well as driving and supporting team's ideas and efforts to complete that
 • Strong cooperation with the business;
 • Supporting the team in case of difficult cases, any issues or problems; 
 • Working closely with AR team in order to make sure the company’s polices and standards are followed and providing support to their work 
 • Exposure to various levels in finance (controller level), Corporate Credit management
 • Looking into the issues related to compliance, legal, and market-risk involved in the endorsement of credit
 • Ensuring AR insurance policy is followed and renewed timely
 • Cooperation with third parties: insurance brokers, insurance underwriter, scoring companies
• Providing status reports to the Manager, highlighting issues that need to be addressed with solutions proposals as well as things that are going well. 


Basic Requirements

Requirements:

Min. 5 years of relevant experience,

Min. 2 years in people management role is an advantage Degree in Finance/Accounting or others

Must have a very strong combination of analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills

Very good business knowledge, Motorola customer portfolio knowledge is an asset

Self driven & independent

Proactively challenge status quo

Ability to critically review existing process supported by previous roles achievements

Very good knowledge of trade finance, financial analysis and financial statements

Good knowledge of Excel

Ability to effectively prioritize, schedule and execute task supported by previous roles achievements

Ability to respond to business/ client queries and escalations supported by previous roles achievements

Proactively challenge status quo supported by previous roles achievements

Ability to critically review existing processes

Actively supports professional development of the team individuals

Flexible, able to work under time pressure
