Position Description:

Supporting M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy initiatives. Work directly with senior team members to evaluate market opportunities and execute deals. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic corporate development team and gain exposure to high-impact strategic initiatives. Strong performers will have opportunities for rapid advancement.

Position Location: United States (Syracuse, NY area.  Hybrid role)

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field Strong financial modeling and Excel skills Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Preferred:

Prior investment banking or consulting internship experience preferred but not required Programming skills (Python, SQL) preferred but not required Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg, Crunchbase

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

Create financial models and conduct valuation analysis using DCF, comparable, and precedent transactions Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets Support due diligence processes and deal execution Prepare executive presentations and investment committee materials Track industry trends and maintain internal deal databases

Interview #2: Video interview with the Hiring Manager (via MS Teams)

Interview #3: Video interview with the Team (via MS Teams)

 

The base salary (or hourly rate) range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
