Group of luxury Boutique Hotels, Resorts and Lodges with properties in different countries over the wold, and in a process of expansion. The company is moving it's Headquarters to Spain (Menorca) to build a strong structure for the future of the company.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO and COO, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

Align the people-related strategies to business objectives.Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of HR programs and servicesProvide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.Support performance review process, career development planning, performance, and managementActs as an HR consultant to line management when appropriate.Execute HR strategies that support the overall business strategyImplement HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and transform company cultureExecute programs that enhance employee well-beingOversee recruitment and talent retention strategies to ensure the organisation always has the workforce it needsImplement performance management systems that encourage continuous improvementDevelop workforce planning and talent management processes to enhance organisational effectivenessLead change management efforts, particularly when the organisation undergoes significant transitions or restructuringCollaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and marketing, to align HR initiatives with broader organisational goalsManage the HR department's budget and allocate resources effectivelyMaintain confidentiality in HR matters and uphold high ethical standards.

The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration. An MBA in Human Resources would be an advantage.At least 10 years of work experience as an HR Director, preferably in the hospitality industryStrong knowledge of labour and employment lawsExcellent communication and leadership skillsFluent in English and Spanish, any other language is a plus (French)Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to deal with rapidly changing business conditions.Experience in team managementAbility to take initiatives and tackle down problemsGood organisation and analytically skillsA balance between a methodical and process-driven approach and flexibility and creativity when it comes to meeting deadlines and finding solutions.
