Is the second working level of the engineering series. Incumbents perform moderate to complex engineering tasks with limited supervision and lead routine engineering projects. This role has no direct reports.

Develop and evaluate solutions thereby defining project scope.Coordinates, prepares and/or assembles the engineering package/project documentation for each assigned project based on direction provided from managerCollaborationInterfaces with people, departments, and/or companies to ensure that equipment is safe, made on schedule and to specificationProvides the purchasing services for project materials required. This includes reviewing potential vendors, contacts with vendors, coordinating with the Purchasing department, issuing purchase orders, some price negotiation, and expediting delivery.AccountabilityManages project costs, project scheduling, and communicates pertinent data to appropriate areas for engineering projects which may vary in terms of scope and responsibilities.Completes Project Closeout and Postmortem Analysis for appropriate projects.Results and OutperformanceActively participates on continuous improvement / kaizen teams and leads teams as requested.Secures and maintains knowledge of current industry practices as they may apply to Amcor products and equipment.Assists with installation, checkout, start-up and training as necessary.WHAT WE VALUE
