How you’ll shape the future of Environmental Affairs:

Track EU, federal and provincial regulatory developments and provide technical/regulatory support to operations in Canada and France to ensure regulatory changes are fully implemented.Lead strategic environmental permitting projects for company operations.Engage in project teams to support environmental engineering and performance improvement projects.Leverage company membership in NCASI and other industry associations and coalitions to monitor technological developments and emerging environmental and regulatory issues that could impact company operations.

You’ll be someone who can bring:

Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred) or Environmental Sciences.Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental management, preferably in pulp and paper industry to include work with regulators. Bilingual French and English preferred.Strong knowledge of Federal and provincial (Quebec) environmental regulations.Experience managing biological wastewater treatment systems STRONGLY preferredFlexible work location (US or Canada)
