Our Deals practice with the Advisory line of service provides a wide range of services aimed at assisting clients in the execution of M&A transactions (typically valuation and due diligence services), improvement of business strategy, raising of finance and optimisation of financing structures amongst other areas. We are currently looking for the right people to join the team!Your Mission
As an Associate 2, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively assist in the delivery of services to a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and aboveContribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumenAssist management in delivering various projectsKeep up to date with local and national business and economic issuesKeep abreast with developments in the accounting profession vis-a-vis accounting standards (IFRS, etc.)Develop internal relationships including your PwC brand as well as relationships with clientsBe proactive in one’s learning and development and seek opportunities to upskill oneself in various related areasThe ideal candidates should have:
An Accountancy qualificationBe a graduate starting off their career or have between 1-2 years of experience, preferably working in the field of accounting and/or corporate financeStrong analytical skills but tempered with an ability to think laterallyAbility to deliver quality written workExcellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate results of analysis and thought processAbility to multitask across assignmentsGeneral business / commercial awarenessPrior direct experience on financial advisory assignments relating to raising finance, capital market transactions, M&A, corporate valuations, due diligence and business recovery would be considered an assetThe selected candidates will:
