This position is hybrid and located in Charlotte, NC. **What You Will Do** + Bring creativity and curiosity to our talented team + Utilize your strong accounting knowledge and can-do attitude to collaborate with your team + Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and rollforwards + Prepare fluctuation analyses to understand and explain changes in account balances over time + Research and consider the accounting for special projects and transactions + Support tie outs and disclosure analyses for SEC reporting and regulatory reporting + Team with and support internal and external audit teams + Guide system implementations and SAP upgrades + Use creativity to problem solve and suggest opportunities for improvement + Leverage artificial intelligence and make recommendations on how use of AI can be expanded **What You Bring** **Required:** + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance + Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in addition to a degree + Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect + Proven ability to work in fast-paced, detailed, and deadline-oriented environment + High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel + Financial analysis and critical thinking skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability + Team player with flexibility to shift priorities **Preferred:** + SAP & BPC experience + 2+ years of public accounting experience + CPA **\#LI-JH2** **Benefits of Joining Albemarle** + Competitive compensation + Comprehensive benefits package + A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
