Corporate Financial Reporting Senior Specialist

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
 

You will be working in the Global Accounting, Reporting & Tax (GAR&T) department of SAP. This department is directly assigned to SAP's CFO and is responsible for the completeness and correctness of SAP's accounting and external financial reporting under local and international GAAP.

 

Global Accounting, Reporting & Tax (GAR&T) is structured in different teams:

 

Corporate Revenue Recognition External Reporting, Accounting & Technology (ERAT) Local Accounting and Reporting Global IFRS Excellence Global Tax

 

We are looking for an expert in accounting infrastructure and tools to join our team Group Accounting Technology, Closing and Oversight team (GATCO) assigned under the ERAT.

 

What you'll do

 

Maintain Group IFRS Chart of accounts from master data side, help to resolve ad-hoc requests. Participate/ drive projects of system enhancement from business side, support implementation of innovative tools, including in the area of AI. Administrate and automate Group closing activities (timetable, scheduling of tasks, maintenance and support). Cooperate with different GAR&T stakeholders, Global Tax, Global Finance Shared Services, controlling and other corporate functions.

 

What you bring
 

University Degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in the accounting area is a must Good knowledge of IFRS. SAP tools knowledge is a plus Very good English level. Proficient in MS Office, experience with macro is a plus. Experience in leading projects is a plus Skills to identify improvements, propose solutions, being innovative and proactive in a very dynamic environment. Technical affinity, agile and digital mindset. Resilient and a strong team player in a virtual and international team. Enthusiastic in exploring and applying AI technologies to finance processes.

Infrastructure & Tools team is responsible for support from technological side Group IFRS accounting and to ensure accuracy of accounting data based on the requirements of GAR&T teams, as well their automation.
