Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Corporate HR Generalist to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Corporate HR Generalist is responsible for ongoing administration of Human Resources functions at corporate and plant level. This includes sourcing, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, talent management, performance management, terminations, reporting/analytics, benefits management, EEO/ AAP, COBRA, training, orientation, and other tasks generally performed by Human Resources at this level.

Essential functions:
Administer assigned functions, such as recruitment, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis, leave and benefits administration Collect and analyze data - tracks trends and developments in assigned functional areas, conducts studies, performs research and prepares reports Research, coach, and counsel managers, supervisors, and employees on employee relations matters Manage and respond to unemployment claims and various regulatory/legal requirements Provide management/supervisor guidance on performance improvement and disciplinary actions Interpret, develop, and administer policies and procedures Responsible for new hire orientation and benefits enrollment support Special projects that may include: developing training programs, safety program administration, wellness programs, etc. Provide general assistance and support to all co-workers On-boarding of new co-workers All other duties as assignedOther Duties:
Internal Contacts: (70-80 %) Contacts required as a regular part of daily duties.
External Contacts: (20-30%) Contacts required as a regular part of daily duties
Basic Requirements:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Experience: 4-6 years experience directly in Human Resource functions. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Physical Skill & Effort: Limited manual dexterity required. Work requires infrequent physical effort.
Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions.
