Responsibilities Work with Technical Team to introduce new mold designs, tooling and processes that meet or exceed customer expectations.Develop scientifically based processes and generate documentation to ensure run consistency of quality and efficiency via established process specifications.Provide engineering feedback on new designs to insure process capability and review and testing of new materials. Participate in mold design reviews prior to mold build.Provide technical support to manufacturing for capability issues, technical improvements, and daily processing activities.May be involved with auxiliary equipment to support molding operation such as retrieval robots, IML robots, lid stackers, etc.Lead and/or participate on cross functional teams to help achieve operational goals.May provide oversight and guidance to Molding Technicians and productions mechanics.Train employees, provide feedback on performance, assign and direct work as needed.Support injection molding process control and capability using scientific molding principles.Support implementation of the MAP molding processes.Drive molding process improvements to include cycle time efficiencies, cavitation, scrap reduction, and establishment of optimal processing parameters.Provide technical support for new tooling qualifications and process capability studies.Support process improvement, reduction of downtime, cost reduction, and corrective action teams.Assist in the set-up, repair, and troubleshooting of Injection Molding equipment.Support Company Safety, Quality, and Productivity goalsTravel needs will vary with the business, expect 65% Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering/similar discipline or equivalent work experienceA proven track record of successful leadership within a manufacturing organizationExperience of day to day running of a manufacturing plantSelf-motivated with proven experience of developing and motivating employeesGood interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.Good written and presentational skills.Proven experience of change management and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness of sites.Ability to perform under pressureExcellent ability to analyze data Additional Info
