Interns will take on meaningful projects that apply a project management approach, allowing them to lead initiatives within various departments. Program Duration:
Start Date: Monday, June 2, 2025
End Date: Friday, August 8, 2025
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid setting: in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

 

What you do:

Content creation: Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading internal communications content with a concentration on Connect (corporate intranet) and Viva Engage articles and features to engage employees and keep them informed. Internal campaigns: Assist with the development and execution of internal communications campaigns to promote corporate values, new initiatives, or important updates. Event support: When needed, assist with organizing and promoting internal events, such as all hands meetings, ticket management and volunteer events. Research: Conduct research on best practices in internal communication, employee engagement and company culture to recommend new initiatives and improvements. Cross-departmental collaboration: Work with various teams, including HR, marketing, and leadership, to ensure consistent messaging across all internal communication channels. Reporting & Metrics: Track the effectiveness of communication efforts, monitor engagement metrics, and gather feedback to help refine strategies.

 

What you bring:

Must be a rising junior or senior pursuing a 4-year college degree. Preferred majors: Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related disciplines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with AP (Associated Press) Style Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Familiarity with digital communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Creative thinking and ability to engage a diverse workforce. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. A proactive, enthusiastic team player with a positive and professional attitude. Writing samples will be requested as part of the application.
