Corporate & Investment Bank - Data Visualization Associate

The Strategic Program and Project Management team spends each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm and organization. The team will have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that help promote efficiency and transformational programs across the Corporate and Investment Banking organization. 

As a Data Visualization – Associate in our Strategic Program and Project Management team, you will be responsible for executing the team’s projects and initiatives through new dashboard design/development and ongoing improvements to existing dashboards/Reports, Data management initiatives, and extending responsibility to offer report/Dashboard automation capabilities.

You will work closely with senior leadership to problem solve and drive execution and implementation of strategic site initiatives. It necessitates excellent communication across diverse stakeholder groups, a can-do attitude and curiosity for knowledge.

You will need to collaborate with a variety of internal clients and subject matter experts at every level of the organization, solicit and validate views from site senior leadership team, and support operational leads managers. 

Job Responsibilities :

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and solve business problems through rigorous data analysis and visualizations. Build and support Qlik/Tableau dashboards to deliver information and data in ways that help drive the business and create efficiencies Query, analyze and transform complex data sets to optimize dashboard flexibility and performance Be able to present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the senior leadership team to quickly understand the results and make data driven decisions. Stay knowledgeable about new processes, technology, and best practices in data analytics and data science. Lead meetings and presentations, at the operational and project level; work with program management to help prioritize work across impacted areas. Manage appropriately sized project teams, produce, and maintain project plans, business requirements and adoption plans. Deliver process change to an agreed plan in a controlled manner, with alignment to milestones where required. Identify and influence the key stakeholders required to deliver the project work. Act as an escalation point for wider stakeholder issues to make all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest opportunity. Ensure all stakeholders are aware and appraised of key developments; maintain living, evolving, documentation to ensure there is clarity of both the current status and next steps. Provide continuous feedback on plan status; ensure information is shared, issues escalated and addressed timely. Facilitate and actively partake in requirement walkthroughs with process SMEs and key business users, obtain, review, and understand project requirements so that you can effectively lead the project, assess risks and issues, actively help solve problems that may arise, and ensure robust solutions are delivered to meet the specified business requirements. Identify, document, and communicate risks and dependencies affecting deliveries; drive their resolution. Actively identify, manage & escalate Risks, Issues & Dependencies, whilst continuing to own mitigation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in demonstrating technical expertise working in end to end data & analytics implementations Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Computer Engineering/ Math & Statistics / Business Management / Statistics / Economics / IT / Finance Highly proficient and hands on experience on data warehouse and analytics tools. Excellent hands on experience in Qlik /Tableau / Power BI / Alteryx, advanced skills optimizing data models and directly developing dashboards.   Experience optimizing data architecture and data libraries for specific use in Qlik/ Tableau Load script development experience:  Ability to load data from multiple source and deal with complex data models Project Management Skills: A basic understanding of project requirements, project delivery process, business analysis, testing success factors, and implementation guidelines. Familiarity with project management methodologies/tools would be an advantage – but a willingness to learn is a pre-requisite. Communications Skills: Solid communication skills, written, verbal & visualization, coupled with the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, influence others & gain consensus.  Problem Solving Skills: Have great attention to detail, a naturally inquisitive approach to problem solving, and a very high-quality bar. Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large data sets and establish trends to form and validate process decisions. Product Knowledge: A basic understanding the Know Your Customer(KYC) processes and associated Know Your Customer(KYC) systems. Flexibility: Flexible work hours in support of a global support model
