We are actively looking for candidates that can support our mission of providing exceptional customer service to a critical national industry.   Responsibilities of the IT Intern entail: Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone and remote electronic control of user systems. Follow standard help desk procedures. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Research questions using available information resources. Advise users on appropriate actions to resolve issues. Properly document all work and calls using an internal ticketing system. Redirect problems to appropriate resources when necessary. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. Track and route problems and requests, and document resolutions. Administer help desk software. Stay current with system information, changes, and updates. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Assist other IT personnel with their duties and responsibilities as needed. Coordinate with others to troubleshoot as necessary. Manage time effectively and efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.   The requirements to be an IT Intern: Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field 0-2 years of experience in a client/server environment preferred High School Diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years old
