Corporate IT Networking Intern

Description:
The Corporate IT Networking Internship will support the Corporate Networking Team with implementation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting of network systems. The intern will gain hands-on experience in network infrastructure while working closely
with network engineers and IT professionals. The 2025 Corporate IT Networking Internship duration is anticipated to be from
June 2025 thru August 2025 or mutually agreed upon timeframe.

 

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
• Document network configurations, changes, and updates.
• Participate in network maintenance and upgrade activities.
• Collaborate with the IT team to support network-related projects.
• Conduct research on networking technologies and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Requirements:
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Current college or university student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark) is a plus

 

Additional Details:
• Internship is a paid opportunity.
• Internship typically may be up to 40 hours per work week.
• Internship does not provide housing stipend/allowance.

 

Location:
• This position is located at our offices in Boone, Iowa.
