Nelson Mullins is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join its New York office and support a busy team of Corporate and Litigation Attorneys. This role supports a high-performing team of Corporate and Litigation Attorneys and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
A Day in the LifeThis role demands a proactive, tech-savvy professional with excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include calendar management, expense reimbursement processing, document review and formatting, document management, and limited docketing and litigation assistance. The Assistant will also be responsible for running conflict checks, initiating new client/matter engagements, and setting up billing requirements in alignment with firm standards.
We Know YouA high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word—is essential, along with a strong command of technology and meticulous attention to detail when proofreading and editing documents. Experience with document management systems, billing software, time entry programs, and electronic docket filing is strongly preferred. Familiarity with interacting with regulatory agencies and supporting transactional services is also beneficial.

Salary/Wage Range: $68,000-$92,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for merit-based raises and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
