Together. **Summary** DLA Piper is seeking a mid-senior level associate to join its fast-paced Corporate practice in Minneapolis serving Fortune 500 global companies. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of substantive corporate transactional experience focusing on complex cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and global corporate restructurings. **Knowledge and Skills** + Excellent research, drafting, and writing skills. + Extremely efficient, organized, and resourceful. + Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail. + Possess a high degree of intellect, business savvy, diligence, and self-motivation. + Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and a significant workload of diverse matters in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. + Ability to manage input from various stakeholders and run transactions seamlessly. + Team player with a strong orientation towards a collaborative and results-oriented environment. **Basic Qualifications:** + Juris Doctor Degree from a nationally ranked law school. + Membership in the State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in Minnesota. + 4+ years of experience practicing law with a national/international law firm. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Cross-border mergers and acquisition transactional experience. + Experience in working with local counsel globally and managing complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions. **Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements** Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
