Corporate Merchandise Inventory Control and Data Integrity Manager
Overview:

The Corporate Merchandise Inventory Control and Data Integrity Manager serves as the primary line of business owner of all merchandise, games, and extra charge systems including point of sale, inventory systems, eCommerce, and third party integrations.  The Administrator will be the business unit subject matter expert and master user on each system and represent the Merchandise organization with IT and 3rd party technology providers. 


Responsibilities:Serves as the primary line of business owner of all merchandise, games, and extra charge systems including point of sale, inventory systems, eCommerce, and third party integrations. Manages merchandise inventory system hierarchy, attributes, user access controls, revenue center configuration, and other enterprise system configurations.Annual inventory facilitator: Supports and monitors the annual inventory processes ensuring policies, procedures, and processes are implemented and approval aligns with the guidance’s documented. Provides a park and enterprise summary to the Vice President if the Merchandise, Games and Extra Division.Manages and communicates enterprise inventory data integrity processes and procedures. Prepares regular exception-based reporting and prepares and presents summaries to leadership. Oversees the centralization of retail centers set-up and sku creation.Implements approved authorized cycled counts / adjustment thresholds. Provides training and develops SOPs for merchandise systems and users.Ensures system inventory management practices align with all internal controls and industry best practices.Executes pricing changes and promotions within systems, performing necessary testing, and provides communication related to timing and pricing effectivity.POS Coordinator: Oversees development and deployment of pre-arrival product offerings. Submits necessary requests for pre-arrival products and coordinates POS redemption processes and necessary testing. Includes price management, tax application management and sales downloads for all parks.Coordinates any system testing with retail operations teams related to merchandise systems including POS, season pass entitlements, and other system integrations.Participates in evaluation, sourcing, selection and implementation of new systems and upgrades.Represents the Corporate Merchandise organization in cross functional work with IT and with external 3rd party technology providers.Collaborates with IT to resolve or escalate support tickets related to data integrity or merchandise line of business process errors.Supports leadership initiatives including data integrity projects, advancement of reporting, collaborative projects with Business Intelligence, enhancements to the guest experience, and modernization of processes and procedures.Collaborates with Planning & Allocation and Product Development on reporting needs including Open-To-Buy, sales, royalty, on-order, inventory health, vendor performance scorecards, inventory position, transaction performance, and other analytics.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Technology or similar discipline3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeProficiency with retail inventory or point of sale systemsAbility to learn and master standard merchandise inventory and point of sale systems.Specialty retail, mass department store, or theme park experience preferred.Ability to travel up to 10%
