Corporate Operations Accounting Manager

The **_Corporate Operations Accounting Manager_** will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: + Lead the strategic design, implementation, enhancements, upgrades and continuous improvement of Finance technology systems that support the Finance team and overall organization; + Drive transformation of existing processes and tools to be more effective and efficient through governance, change management, and end-to-end maintenance of systems and processes; + Lead process improvement related to Finance tools, including creating and driving an adoption strategy for new and existing tools, automation and process transformation; + Manage relationships with Finance technology third-party vendors; + Lead, and manage projects and the system development life cycle; review, clarify, and/or test deliverables; work with the Finance team to define requirements, conduct needs analysis, determine project specifications, identify solutions, and implement recommendations; + Manage accurate design and execution of key internal controls over financial systems; + Provide support to field accounting for income journals, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting; + Administer Atrium’s eProcurement and Financial Reporting platforms; + Execute compliance reports for accounts receivable, purchasing, and daily income journals; + Assist in internal and external audits working closely with corporate accounting and internal auditors; + Participate in developing, planning and implementing division goals, benchmarks, innovative programs, courses, policies, and procedures; + Support all pre-opening financial activities for new and transitioning hotels; + Train hotel accounting associates and related department heads on accounting policies/procedures and systems; identifying training trends, developments and best practices in accordance with Atrium Core Values; + Assist in the development and modification of Accounting SOP's; and + Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. **Salary Range: 85k-90k** **What you will need to be considered for this role:** Prior Experience: 4+ years’ experience in accounting roles of increasing responsibility Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience Previous COUPA experience Expert Microsoft Excel, and Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite **What will set you apart:** 2+ years supervisory experience 2+ years previous hotel accounting experience Hotel operations leadership experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive Certification Intermediate/Advanced Knowledge of COUPA Sage 300, Profit Sage, Smartsheet, My Digital Office/Otelier, Hotel Effectiveness Excellent written and verbal, communication skills, presentation skills **Travel:** 10% \#LI-CY1 __________________________________________________ When you’re an Atrium Associate, you’re a part of a crucial workforce providing the ultimate ‘Home Away From Home’ for our guests.
